Media Trends

A decade ago when I began this blog, blogging was on the rise and two years after the market was insanely saturated with bloggers and influencers. Main stream blogging trickled over to platforms like instagram and Tik Tok likely due to the fact a lot of people don’t like to read anymore and 10 second videos are easier to digest than reading a plethora of words.

My prediction is that just as clothing trends cycle in and out, y2k trends, high waisted jeans, low rise jeans, etc; so will media trends.

Within the next few years people will likely crave depth and substance in the media they consume. After all, it is human nature to crave connection. I truly think that media sources like blogs will make a resurgence because it seems like a closer connection. Almost like when people turn on YouTube channels while they work or grwm videos when they get ready so it feels like they are getting ready with someone.

Youtube is the one media avenue that seems to have been consistent in their content creators in terms of consumption by audience as an escape and getting to know those creators on a deeper less surface level base.

Until Next Time,

KLV
