Winters in Dallas can be brutal for a few weeks. On weeks that the roads aren’t frozen over and there’s no rolling power outages I still opt for dresses and heels. Stepping out for brunch in Highland Park? Yes, please. One of my favorite closet staples are fitted long dresses. This is my every day uniform. If you know me in real life you can attest to this. So whether it’s winter or summer catch me leaving the house in a long dress. Pictured is some style inspiration for your winter outfits. Try any solid colored dress, add a statement belt, throw on a nice winter coat, and step out with your favorite strappy heels. Luckily we can still wear open toed shoes without our toes falling off down south but if you’re in a more northern state feel free to replace the heels with your favorite boots and style it with statement socks.
