Everything here was extremely beautiful! There were a few pieces that I did not quite understand, but other than that I couldn’t keep my eyes off of anything. Going to places like these with my family is quite an adventure. From my little brother acting silly and wanting to touch EVERYTHING, to my dad calling “KHRSTYN, KHIRSTYN-LIEN!” every second because he wanted me to see another piece while there are actual art students trying to get work done while examining the pieces quite extensively (probably over-analyzing them from what I saw), to the constant laughter coming from solely our family while being closely watched by the a little uptight workers, every second was worthwhile. I wouldn’t trade a single minute of my day to have been somewhere else. Just thinking about this day makes me smile!
“Quick, pretend like you’re examining this!”
Thinking about nothing… I’m going to regret these pictures in the near future.
Our next album cover. Wait til’ our mixtape drops fall 2015. Don’t sleep on us.
So, let me tell you. My mommy has got to be the cutest thing alive! This was a display full of pennies at the bottom and she just picked up hand fulls and threw them down on the ground playfully as if she were a toddler at the beach playing in the sand. Yes, it was a little embarrassing at the time and a woman was looking at her questionably, but it’s something I’ll never forget. Looking back on it, that moment filled my day with laughter. Maybe it was immature, but I’m lucky to call such a playful and innocent woman my mom!
A lady worker almost had a heart attack because she said Kyle was too close to the artwork! I shouldn’t have been laughing as hard as I did, and it may come off as rude and ignorant, but honestly I din’t see the big deal. To me it just looked like a blob. I’m no professional artist, but I honestly didn’t understand how some of the pieces got in there… Maybe I shouldn’t speak the truth, but I’m not going to lie, this incident was a bit ridiculous. No, actually, it was incredibly ridiculous.
