College Grad And Graduate School During A Pandemic

Going to college, and having my last semester turned upside down during the beginning of corona in 2020 was intense.

The last year and semester is usually when your course load is lighter, you have more free time, and most people go out the most.

Going out with a bang wasn’t so promising for that spring of 2020.

Interesting thing how the world shuts down at what seemed to be one of the biggest milestones of a persons life, but I learned even that can’t stop you from living.

I went on picnics, took myself on dates alone in my car to chase sunsets and eat ice cream, read a few books, applied got accepted and completed a well recognized graduate program, and grew so much mentally and spiritually during that year and a half since.

While it wasn’t “ideal” or the perfect end to my college career I feel blessed to have made it to this point in my life. While there are many lows that I’m not sure I want to, or ever will, go into detail about here: I am fortunate enough to know that the hardships have also played into the success of my character growth.

I hope you all have stayed safe and become more in tune with who you are and all that you are capable of in this life as well.

With love,

Khirstyn-Lien

 Jeremiah 29:11-13

For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
