So I had to get tested for tb in order to volunteer at a hospital! I watched the needle go into my arm this time and let me tell you, don’t ever do that because it’ll just make you want to cry. I got it checked two days later, so yesterday, and I don’t have tb. Not a surprise, but at least I got to make my “working/volunteer” schedule for this summer! I’m super excited to volunteer at this hospital. It may even be the highlight of my summer, mind you I’m going to LA to stay at a lake house and watch fireworks and also going on a cruise to the Bahamas again but I’m most excited for these volunteering opportunities!

Anyways, let’s get down to these outfit deets! So I figured for this hospital encounter I’d go for a comfy look. I wore this loose fitting cream crop top ($10, Charolette Rouse) with this off orange skirt covered in a light pink floral pattern with hints of green in it. So this purse doesn’t exactly go along with any of the colors in my outfit, but if you’ve read through my blog or know me; you should already know that this came from my best friend and I love it so I wear it almost everywhere I go. Same thing goes for these beautiful nude suede booties gifted to me by my Aunt Mary. I love both of them so  much (the people). Pretty much every outfit since this past Christmas has included these two items because they’re from two of the people I love the most. Okay, the majority of my outfits include them not every single one… you don’t want to be an outfit repeater. If they gifted me a potato sack I’m sure I’d find a place in my room for it!

For my face I’m using some bb cream my aunts got from their trip to Korea,  a light brown brow pencil for my unruly brows, and of course we can’t forget my signature cat eye/ winged eyeliner that I do on the daily. I used Revlon’s liquid eyeliner pen because I find liquid eyeliner works the best for the look I’m going for. The gel eyeliner and pencil eyeliner that I’ve used in the past just isn’t bold enough and seems to fade quicker throughout the day.

Fun quick story about my brows: So I haven’t had my eyebrows done since ’97, the year of my birth, and my mom made a random appointment last week when I’ve been begging her since junior high, mind you I am about to be a senior! Let me tell you, waxing your eyebrows is definitely not worth it! It was $30 in total including the tip to get my brows done and they looked the same as when I first went in there. Not to mention they made my eyelids bleed and I had scabs on my eyelids for quite some time.

Morale of the story kids: Don’t get your eyebrows waxed even if other people (including your little sister) taunt you for having bushy eyebrows, it isn’t worth it sweetie. Your eyebrows are perfect just the way they are. 🙂 You can just let them grow out like little bushes on your face like I’m about to do again. :-))
