Magic hour, or the typical time of the sunset. Also known as prime time for taking pictures. But something simpler to do is taking your pictures in lighting with overcast skies. Where I live it always seems to be raining but I’ve found it to be one of the easiest/ best settings to correct. The sky is easily correctable and your skin. Just brighten the overall image. I’ve been using Lightroom religiously for the past year and created a set of pre sets that make editing easier and take only a few minutes to edit now. Here are some before and after a for reference with side by sides. Don’t let lighting deter you from shoots because they could be some of your best with simple color correction!
